Ukrainian adtech startup Influ2 raised $ 3.4 million

Influ2, a startup that develops an advertising targeting platform, has announced a $ 3.4 million seed round.

One Way Ventures, VentureFriends, as well as Kazakh investor Murat Abdrakhmanov and Peter Harrison, former CEO of GlobalLogic, took part in the Influ2 round.

The company plans to spend the raised money on marketing, product development, as well as expanding the team in the USA and Ukraine.

Influ2 — is a project of the Ukrainian entrepreneur Dmytro Lissytsky, which he launched in the summer of 2017 (for more details, see Lissytsky’s interview with AIN.UA). In December of that year, the startup raised $ 190,000 in angel investments. The idea of ​​the service is to target ads to specific people, taking into account how and how many times they interacted with it.

According to the company, its revenue has grown fivefold since 2019, and in the first six months of 2020 the product has grown by 251%, despite the impact of the coronavirus.

The pandemic also affected the process of finding and raising funds. According to Lissitzky, quarantine delayed work on the deal for three months.
