Rozetka and Visa launch a startup competition. Prize – up to UAH 500,000 for project development

Rozetka and Visa have launched the Business Trampoline competition for small businesses. Both service and manufacturing businesses can participate. The winners will receive from UAH 200,000 to UAH 500,000 free of charge – for the development of their project.

Who can participate

All representatives of small business in Ukraine – from honey and furniture manufacturers to publishing houses and software developers.

How the selection will take place

Participants of the competition need to publish a post with a photo or video presentation about their business in the social accounts of their company, in which they propose an idea of developing their business. That is, in fact, to tell what you plan to spend the prize money on.

From such posts on social networks, the team will select the top 30 participants according to these criteria:

• the company plans to digitize processes and introduce new technologies (or is already doing it);
• has a clear market positioning and idea;
• produces a quality product or provides services in Ukraine;
• has a written business development plan.

Selected businesses get to the general vote at Ukrainska Pravda – the brands with the most votes will form the top ten finalists.

On September 25, the finalists will present their projects in a crash test in front of the jury. It includes:

• Vladislav Chechetkin, co-founder and CEO of Rozetka;
• Vira Platonova, senior vice president of Visa in Ukraine, Georgia, CIS countries and Southeast Europe;
• Andriy Fedoriv, founder and CEO of FEedoriv Group;
• Oleg Gorokhovsky, co-founder of monobank;
• Victoria Tigipko, founder and managing partner of the venture capital fund TA Ventures, president of the ICLUB Global private investors club.

The jury will select 5 winners from the top 10.

What prizes

The jury will select five winners who will receive funds to develop their business:

• 1st place – UAH 500,000;
• 2nd place – UAH 350,000;
• 3rd, 4th, 5th places – UAH 200,000.

In addition, a video project will be shot about the top ten finalists, which will be published on the official pages of Rozetka and Visa on social networks. In addition, they will be invited to crash-test their business in front of a professional jury. The presentations will be filmed by the Fedoriv Vlog team and will form the basis of a special issue dedicated to the project.
