The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine proposes for public discussion a draft Procedure for the conduct of a competitive selection of research and development projects by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, carried out by universities and scientific institutions of state ownership, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, further implementation of these scientific research and development at the expense of the general fund of the state budget and their management.

The project was developed with the aim of improving the procedure for conducting a competitive selection of scientific research and development of higher educational institutions and scientific institutions, as well as taking into account the requirements of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to improve the efficiency of the use of state budget funds for scientific and scientific and technical activities.

The draft Procedure was discussed at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Vice-Rectors for Scientific Work and with members of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine for the Development of Science and Technology.
