UrbanData — is a web service, a telegram bot and a mobile application for searching and analyzing data in the field of urban planning (quick search for documents, identifying suspicious and illegal objects).
The project provides an opportunity for a convenient and quick search in the registers of SACI (Ukrainian DABI) and in the state land cadastre. The service allows you to get information about any construction in Ukraine, as well as to identify illegal buildings.
A layer of the State Land Cadastre is displayed on the map in UrbanData, and in one click you can get the following information about any site throughout Ukraine:
- Cadastral number;
- Type of ownership;
- Special purpose;
- Code;
- Land category;
- Area.
The project received funding in the amount of UAH 460,000.
FreelandUA
FreelandUA — is a marketplace that provides information about land plots, agricultural land and gives their assessment.
The resource collects data from the registers and offers to check, sell, buy, rent a land plot without underestimating its real value and fraud.
The e-commerce platform will be useful for land owners, potential investors, agricultural companies.
FreelandUA will receive UAH 500,000 from the prize fund for further development.
PravoSud
PravoSud — is a tool for researching judicial practice, quickly searching for regulatory legal acts, analyzing the practice of judges, as well as monitoring open registries on one platform.
The system allows you to quickly find the necessary judicial practice, find out the status of the document, familiarize yourself with the history of the case directly in the document card, or go to the analytical block on the judge who made a certain decision.
The development team received additional funding in the amount of UAH 840,000.
Deep Green Ukraine
The startup is developing technology that will automatically detect illegal logging using artificial intelligence and open data.
According to Ostap Yednak, a board member of the Ants Protection Network, the team received UAH 1.4 million from the total prize fund of UAH 3.7 million.
“We are jointly developing a system that will analyze free and paid satellite images with the help of a neural network for felling, and will compare the data for a permit for felling. Special expeditions and networks of active citizens, as well as the foresters themselves, will be able to check the facts of felling and conduct an investigation in time”, – Yednak said.
«Приховані інтереси»
«Приховані інтереси» — is a tool for identifying conflicts of interest among MPs.
The founder of the project, Yulia Grechka, personally faced parliamentary lobbying of interests. The decision in favor of their own companies or family enterprises is a common practice at all levels of government.
Identifying such cases takes a lot of time due to the fact that a large number of documents have to be analyzed. The «Приховані інтереси» project will contain the largest database of deputies of the entire country, as well as companies owned by deputies, their relatives or assistants. The site and the chatbot will help prevent possible corruption schemes and bring violators to justice.
Allocated UAH 500,000 for the development of the Open Data Challenge project.
The Open Data Challenge in Ukraine has been held by the Ministry of Digital Transformation since 2017 in partnership with the USAID / UK aid, TAPAS Project / Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services, Eastern Europe Foundation and 1991 Open Data Incubator.
