The cycle of UkrISTEI webinars on technology transfer has ended
In September-November 2020, the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information, within the framework of the project “Development of the interregional technology transfer network”, held a cycle of free webinars in order to increase the level of competence in the commercialization of promising developments and projects.
Scientific supervisors of the webinars involved such well-known experts as Yu.M. Kapitsa – Doctor of Law, Director of the Center for Intellectual Property Research and Technology Transfer of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, L.P. Tymoshchik – Ph.D. research center of forensic examination on intellectual property of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, A.V. Vasiliev – candidate of technical sciences, director of the Association “INFORMATIO-CONSORTIUM”, patent attorney of Ukraine, L.P. Batenko – candidate of economic sciences, professor of the management department of KNUE, leading specialist in project management, master of business education (Aix University of Economics and Law, France), certified quality management manager of the German and European quality associations, certified trainer of the German organization REFA, P.G. Melnik-Melnikov – candidate of technical sciences, scientific employee of the Department of Management of Scientific Research and Innovation of the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of NAS of Ukraine.
For three months, more than 250 representatives of higher educational and scientific institutions, industry institutes, postgraduate education institutes, scientists, inventors, patent attorneys, forensic experts, graduate students, students, and other interested parties took part in the webinars.
The topic of the webinars aroused great interest. The theoretical and practical aspects were considered: marketing, patent and patent-conjuncture research of objects of intellectual property rights; development of a business plan for the commercialization of intellectual property objects, interaction with potential investors; valuation and accounting of objects of intellectual property rights; options for the distribution of intellectual property rights in contracts for the performance of research and development with national and foreign customers; the practice of concluding agreements on technology transfer; the specificity of Ukraine in the commercialization of scientific and technical developments.
During the webinars, a productive exchange of views on certain topics took place in the chat. We hope that the listeners received a lot of new knowledge and practical advice that they will learn in their future work.
