Banda startup agency opens office in California

Banda creative agency opens the California office. The editorial staff of AIN.UA reported this in banda. The new office will be headed by Yaroslav Serdyuk, co-founder and director of strategy for the agency. Serdyuk has already completely moved to California and will be responsible for the launch and development of the office.

“Entering the American market will give us the opportunity to maximize the difficulty of the game. We already have 4 projects underway in the American market. Development of an identity for a promotional campaign for a Hollywood film. Creation of brands for two investment funds. We are also preparing to launch a new cannabis brand on the market”, – Pavlo Vrzhesh, co-founder of banda.

According to Vrzhesh, the decision to open an office in the United States has been discussed at the company for a long time: the agency is ripe for the American market. “The global lockdown is forcing companies to reconsider their relationships with agencies that cannot keep up with the rapid market changes. This is our chance to draw attention to ourselves and show the world the power of Ukrainian creativity”, – says Vrzhesh.

According to Serdyuk, the future of banda is an independent global agency with headquarters in Kyiv and branches in the most iconic cities of our planet. The first is in California. It is here where the future comes first: what the company loves so much.

In addition, the United States is the birthplace of advertising, and all around are brands. “It doesn’t matter where you are – at the grocery store, at the car wash or at the dentist – you feel how brands work. Each has its own mission, values, visual identity, even a midget store”, – says Serdyuk.

Yaroslav Serdyuk, who directly resides in the States, will be responsible for the work of the American office. The whole team is in Ukraine. In the future, banda is considering the option of hiring several people for business development, but all creativity is in Kyiv.

According to another co-founder of the agency, Yegor Petrov, the coronavirus pumped banda well in terms of remote work. “Now it doesn’t matter where the team is. But for the initial stages of the project, which we call “Immersion” and “Discovery”, it is important that we spend a week at the client’s office. Therefore, we are considering a team relocation for two to three weeks for large projects. Basically, we are talking about strategists who must feel the atmosphere of the market, see everything live and talk to people”, – says Petrov.
