In accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from August 22, 2018 No. 569-r “On the approval of proposals for the distribution of budgetary funds in 2018 for regional development projects that can be implemented at the expense of funds received from the European Union within the framework of the implementation of the Agreement on the financing of the Support Program sectoral policy – Support to the regional policy of Ukraine, which has passed the competitive selection”, UkrISTEI project “Development of the interregional technology transfer network” has passed the competitive selection and will be implemented using funds received from the European Union in the framework of the implementation of the Agreement on financing the Program to support the sectoral policy and regional policy of Ukraine. The project is designed for three years. As a result of the project:

The mission of the network is to provide support for innovative activities using integrated information resources.

Tasks:

  • development of an interregional knowledge and technology transfer network based on regional knowledge and technology transfer centers;
  • attracting institutions to work in the technology transfer network;
  • selection of promising scientific and technical developments, implementation of measures for their commercialization.

Created and functioning:

Interregional office for transfer of knowledge and technologies based on UkrISTEI (Kyiv);

Odesa Regional Center for the Transfer of Knowledge and Technologies on the basis of the Odesa National Economic University;

Kharkiv Regional Center for the Transfer of Knowledge and Technologies on the basis of the Public Organization “Technological Business Incubator “Kharkiv Technologies”

Main directions of activity:

  • interaction and cooperation with higher educational institutions, industrial enterprises, medium and small businesses in order to actively promote and implement scientific, technical and technological developments;
  • advising legal entities and individuals on intellectual property management, technology transfer and commercialization of scientific and technical developments;
  • holding events to promote science-intensive products, including with the involvement of young scientists, graduate students, students and experienced experts and investors;
  • consulting assistance in the preparation of contracts for the disposal of intellectual property rights (technology transfer);
  • organization of advanced training events on technology transfer.
