Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute created its own distance learning platform, where more than 5 thousand students have already registered

Specialists of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute created a separate platform for distance learning, on which students and university teachers can work with various tasks.

“This is a new service that provides for the formation and generation of electronic information. They will allow you to take tests and exams remotely. The system tightens all students and teachers, as well as disciplines, allowing you to set points and, by the way, removes the issue of descriptions in the statements. Then the teacher saves and blocks this sheet, and the dean’s further processes it. Now we are working to ensure that students can create a personal cabinet on the platform and get acquainted with their ratings in it”, –  Rector for Academic Affairs, Anatoly Melnichenko, said.

Students can independently register on the platform. Now there are already 5070.

The basic technological environment on the platform is Moodle, as well as the Google cloud application package – G Suite for Education. In addition, there you can post video courses. User access to these resources is constantly open.

Now the platform has already laid out 356 courses as part of the curriculum and almost 120 in the public domain. They allow teachers to conduct lectures, tests and give assignments, interact interactively with students in the form of seminars, video conferences, forums, chats and questionnaires.
