USAID will give grants to Ukrainian startups – conditions
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) implements the Competitive Economy of Ukraine program. As part of that, 10 startups can receive grants from the US government, according to the site.
To participate, you must complete and submit the documents in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the link.
Key conditions
Eligible companies may be Ukrainian companies or entrepreneur-individuals who have also deployed a team in the country.
Their project should show positive business dynamics (traction), and funding is focused on expanding or conquering new markets. Participants are asked to prove: product relevance in the market, MVP and availability of solvent customers.
There are two steps to submit:
- First round: February 26 – March 31;
- Second Round: June 1st – July 15th.
To participate, applicants must provide at least 25% of the participation alone or with the involvement of investors. The higher the share of such funds, the greater the chance of success. A total of UAH 3.75 million will be distributed among the 10 winners.
