KPI launches online startup course for schoolchildren
Students in grades 9-11 are invited to take a course in the basics of launching their own startup, “StartUp_Camp: the path to a dream”. It was developed by teachers of the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute along with the platform “For a lesson”.
So, the project starts on June 3, 2020 and will last several weeks.
In general, training consists of several stages – a series of online courses, working with mentors and creating your own startup, as well as online protection of work on Pitch day.
You can register via link.
During the course, students will learn the basics of financial literacy, tools for implementing projects and principles of team play.
Students are offered three modules:
- 1 module: “Philosophy of Entrepreneurship. How much is the idea? Why is owning a path to adulthood? What is a business and startup?” and “Turn on critical thinking! What are business hypotheses? How to check that you are doing everything right?”;
- 2 module: “Team game. Why do teams win? What is her Dream Team?” and “Leaders of the business pack. Who is a leader and how to become one? CEO – who is he?”;
- 3 module: “Learning to present your idea. What is a “sale”? Business packaging matters!” and “Where to get the money? Starting business financing. Participation in contests and grants”.
Upon successful completion of the online course, students will be able to receive certificates, in addition to working with mentors on their own projects.
