The selection of candidates for the appointment of scholarships named after Heroes of Heavenly Hundreds has begun
Students who, with their active civic stance, affirm the ideals and values of the Revolution of Dignity, will receive academic scholarships based in honor of 10 young Heroes of Heavenly Hundred. Fellowship candidates will last until July 1, 2020.
Academic scholarships can be received by students and cadets of state institutions of higher education in 10 specialties: “Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy”, “Railway Transport”, “Agroengineering”, “Economics”, “Military Administration (by type of armed forces)”, “Geography”, “Architecture and Urban Planning”, “Software Engineering”, “Stage Art”, “Psychology”.
You can delegate one student from each institution. The selection of candidates is carried out by the highest collegial body of student (cadet) self-government according to the results of the winter session from among:
- students who have significant successes in teaching and/or scientific, social, sports (creative) activities and have received the right to an academic scholarship, hold rating positions within 10% of the first in the rating;
- cadets who have achieved significant success in their studies and/or scientific, social, sports (creative) activities have an approximate military discipline.
To delegate a candidate for an academic scholarship, higher education institutions have by July 1, 2020 to send a package of documents, which should include:
- a cover letter signed by the head of the educational institution;
- decision (extract from the decision) of the supreme body of student self-government and add materials to it confirming the active citizenship of the student (cadet);
- motivation letter (for student);
- extract from the decision of the scholarship commission confirming his right to an academic scholarship (for students);
- materials confirming successes and achievements (for cadets). Materials may look like a portfolio: everything is added there at the request of the nominee. You can add letters, letters of recommendation, photos, etc.
Scholarships will be paid during the school year, starting from September 1, subject to confirmation of the candidates’ right to an academic scholarship based on the results of the summer session. Scholarships for students of institutions of the III level of accreditation who study at the educational qualification level “junior specialist” or “bachelor” will amount to UAH 2130, for students of higher educational institutions of III-IV level of accreditation, scientific institutions studying at the educational qualification level “Bachelor “or” Master “- UAH 2480, and for cadets – in the amount of UAH 2027 per month.
