Japan Prize Contest launches worldwide on education development
Ukrainians can join in improving educational broadcasting in the world. The competition is international and held in Japan.
You can go to competitions in two directions.
So, the first one is audiovisual works (television programs, films, videos, games, application software, mixed media, podcasts, etc.). Applications are accepted from broadcasters, television and film production companies, educational research institutes, non-governmental organizations by categories:
- the preschool education (educational audio-visual content for preschool children under 6 years old);
- the school (educational audio-visual content for elementary school children aged 6 to 12 years);
- youth (educational audio-visual content for youth aged 12 to 18 years);
- adult education (educational audio-visual content for adults over the age of 18);
- digital media (educational audio-visual and interactive content such as websites, applications and games with categories such as preschool and school education, training for youth and adults.
Prizes in this area will be The Grand Prix Japan Prize ($ 5,000); Prizes for the Best Work in Each Division ($ 2,000); Special Prizes ($ 2,000).
Deadline – July 31, 2020 Japanese time on the site.
The second – for broadcasters, television and film production companies, research institutes, non-governmental organizations to create educational television programs for such age categories:
- children (from 0 to 12 years old);
- adolescents (12 to 18 years old);
- adults (18 years and older).
The award is “The Best Proposal Prize” ($ 10,000) and “Excellent Proposal Prize” ($ 6,000). The project should be implemented at the expense of prize money or with the involvement of additional resources by September 30, 2021.
Applications can be sent before July 31, 2020 Japanese time on the website.
