The technology park is based on a data center. Investments in the construction of the infrastructure of the technopark are estimated at $ 200 million. The cost of the equipment to be installed in the data center is estimated by the holding at approximately $ 1 billion.
It is assumed that the capacity of the data center will be used for storing customer data, data processing and 3D rendering. Subsequently, research centers, workshops and agricultural industry facilities will be built in the technopark. The data center will create 200 jobs.
TECHIIA is planning to make the technopark “green” and environmentally friendly: the project is called “Ecotechnopark”. The obtained heat is planned to be used for heating administrative premises in winter and for the needs of other projects of the technopark.
The first investments in the project will be made by the founders of TECHIIA Oleg Krot and Yury Lazebnikov. The company is also negotiating with potential partners to attract additional investments.
The main task, according to the company’s representatives, is to sign long-term contracts for the supply of electricity with NJSC Energoatom. Immediately after the contract is signed, TECHIIA promises to start the construction of the facility: it is planned that this will happen in 2021. In particular, we are talking about the need to pass Law 3199, which should open the opportunity for investors to sign long-term contracts for the supply of energy at competitive rates.
The technopark will be built in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, land for it has already been purchased – 90 hectares. A data center with a capacity of 500 MW will allow loading the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the Ministry of Digital Industry says: The Ministry is a partner of TECHIIA in the development of the project.
