Sergiy Shkarlet discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan topical areas of cooperation in the field of education and science

On September 24, 2020, a meeting of the acting Minister Sergiy Shkarlet with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Elmira Akhundov.

Sergiy Shkarlet expressed gratitude to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Elmira Akhundova for her interest in developing cooperation between the countries.

“I am confident that today’s meeting will allow us to concretize the topical areas of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in education and science. After all, 5,470 Azerbaijani citizens study at Ukrainian universities, ranking third among all foreign students in Ukraine. Unfortunately, compared to 2016. This is half as much.
