Kovalska invests $ 70 million in the UNIT.City innovation park
The Ukrainian innovation park UNIT.City has attracted $ 70 million in investments from the Kovalska industrial and construction group. The funds received will be used for the construction of five new buildings at UNIT.City.

According to Kovalska, the UNIT.City team is responsible for the construction of the business cluster. It will include five business campuses with a total area of 70,000 square meters. Expected implementation period – 4 years.

That is why we are joining the construction of UNIT.City – a unique technological and creative environment for Ukraine, which accumulates the best talents around itself”, – commented Sergiy Pilipenko, General Director of the Kovalska Group.
In July 2020, UNIT.City also received a € 50 million loan from the European Investment Bank. The funds were allocated for the construction of 4 new campuses with a total area of 70,000 sq. m.
UNIT.City
UNIT.City — is an innovative park launched on the territory of an abandoned Kyiv motorcycle plant in April 2017. The founder and investor of the project is Vasiliy Khmelnitsky, who also runs the investment company UFuture.
On the territory of UNIT.City there are business, educational, cultural, sports and entertainment facilities. The goal of the project is to build an innovative “city within a city” of 25 hectares by 2025. There are more than 100 Ukrainian and international companies among UNIT.City residents in 2020. It is planned that in 5 years the park will have more than 500 companies and R&D centers for 15,000 jobs.
In addition, the construction of the UNIT.Home housing complex has begun on the territory. It will occupy 11.7 hectares, the total building area will be 174 940 m2.
“Kovalska”
“Kovalska” is an industrial and construction group, whose activities are concentrated in the field of mining, production of concrete, building materials, as well as logistics, development and construction. In 2020, the Kovalska group includes 13 enterprises, the cost of which is $ 520 million. The total number of employees exceeds 4500 people.
