The Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine approved the rating lists of the projects participating in the competitions “Science for the safety of man and society” and “Support for research of leading and young scientists”

NRFU competition “Science for human and society safety”

The Scientific Council of the NRFU approved a rating list of projects participating in the Science for Human and Society Safety Competition. The passing score recommended by the Contest Committee for the winning projects is 83.1. Due to possible changes in the funding of the Competition after adjusting the budgets of the winning projects, the passing score may be reduced. The amount of funding for projects will be approved by the Scientific Council of the NFDU after the approval of expenses for individual budget items (in particular, for wages) in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation and the Regulation on the competition. The final list of winning projects will be announced within the time frame provided for by the Competition Regulations.

A number of projects were not included in the rating list but are not recommended for funding in accordance with paragraphs. 6 and 7 “The procedure for competitive selection and financing of NFDU projects for the implementation of scientific research and development” as that in terms of the content does not correspond to the subject matter and requirements of the competition “Science for the safety of man and society”.

NRFU competition “Support for research of leading and young scientists”

The Scientific Council of the NRFU approved a rating list of projects participating in the competition “Support for research of leading and young scientists”. The passing score recommended by the Contest Committee for the winning projects is 87.3. Due to possible changes in the financing of the Competition after adjusting the budgets of the winning projects, the passing score may be reduced.

The amount of funding for projects will be approved by the Scientific Council of the NRFU after the approval of expenses for individual budget items (in particular, for wages) in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation and the Regulation on the competition.

The final list of projects-winners of the competition will be announced within the time frame stipulated by the Regulation on the competition.

We recommend that project managers start preparing the documents required to complete an agreement with the NRFU on project financing.
