Work on the development of a draft strategy for the development of higher education in Ukraine for 2021-2031 is continues
On September 4, 2020, by videoconference, chaired by First Deputy Minister Mykola Kizim, a regular meeting of the working group on the development of the draft Strategy for the Development of Higher Education in Ukraine for 2021-2031 was held. The meeting participants reviewed the generalized materials for the draft Strategy and discussed a number of topical issues.
In particular, they noted the need to strengthen the emphasis on:
The proposals and developed materials will become the basis for further work on the project.
Note that a communication platform has been created through which other representatives of the professional community can join the work.
- increasing the prestige of higher education in Ukraine by entering the international markets of educational services, increasing the number of foreign students and developing the export potential of students of domestic HEIs
- institutional autonomy of universities
- providing state support to universities based on the results of their activities;
- creating incentives and favorable conditions for the professional development of teachers, including using the capabilities of universities.
