Ukraine improved its position in the “Global Innovation Index 2020”

In the new rating “Global Innovation Index 2020” Ukraine improved its last year’s result by 2 steps, taking 45th place.

“Ukraine demonstrates overall growth in the ranking of the innovation index and in sub-indices. We received +20 positions in education and +10 in R&D. Ukraine also retained the 2nd place among countries with lower middle income”, – commented the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko.

In the global ranking next to us are such countries 42. Vietnam, 43. Greece 44. Thailand, 46. Romania, 47. RF, 48 India.

Switzerland tops the rankings, followed by Sweden, the USA, United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
