Ukrainian Startup Fund and Startup Kharkiv start cooperation

Director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund Pavlo Kartashov together with the director of Startup Kharkiv Olga Goldin signed a memorandum of partnership.

“The startup ecosystem is not limited to the capital and we are delighted to begin to expand beyond it. Kharkiv is one of the four Ukrainian cities with the most favorable conditions for startups. Here you can find both a developed infrastructure and a lot of talented personnel who produce some of the key technical Ukrainian universities. What can I say, combining our efforts has great potential. Welcome to the team!”, – comments on the details of cooperation Pavlo Kartashov.

The essence of the partnership lies in the implementation of activities aimed at implementing optimal solutions for the development of a startup ecosystem in Ukraine. This will be achieved by sharing information on best practices for developing a startup ecosystem, facilitating the transfer of relevant knowledge and skills through participation in joint projects, events, meetings, and the like.

The first step towards this is to launch reBOOTcamp. This is an intensive startup training course that starts on September 12th and runs through October 4th. If a startup located in Kharkiv has an idea for a technology startup (or MVP) with commercial potential, you can apply for participation in the program at this link https://startupkharkiv.com/reboot.

Reference:

The Ukrainian Startup Fund is a state fund, which was founded on the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The mission of the fund is to promote the creation and development of technology startups at the early stages (pre-seed and seed), in order to increase their global competitiveness. The process of selecting startups for granting grants takes place on a competitive basis: companies are evaluated and selected by a board of independent investment experts.

Startup Kharkiv is the first municipal startup center in Ukraine with its own space in the very center of the city, the goal of which is to create the urban infrastructure necessary for the cultivation of successful startups.
