The August online conference of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine “Scientists of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine – Ukrainian for teachers” has begun

On August 27, the August online conference of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine “Scientists of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine – Ukrainian for teachers” began its work. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andriy Vitrenko and President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Vasily Kremen addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

In his welcoming speech, Andriy Vitrenko thanked the teachers for their hard work and said that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is sincerely interested in cooperation with scientists-teachers on a wide range of urgent tasks.

Vasily Kremen said that the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine is always ready to provide scientific support for reforming the educational system, and also reminded that every teacher in his practice should proceed from the concept of child centrism. This is especially true in the context of the digitalization of education and the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies.

The conference participants heard a number of scientific reports on the challenges of the development of the education system in modern conditions, and also discussed the initiatives that are being implemented in the process of forming and implementing state policy in the field of education. In particular, they talked about the implementation of measures to popularize natural and mathematical education.

The conference will last for three days.

“Reforming the education and science system should be carried out only on the basis of deep scientific and expert support of relevant initiatives and activities. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine conscientiously implement the legislative norm that educational policy should be based on the achievements of modern science. We look forward to a fruitful cooperation with the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and its institutions, which have vast experience in this work. On the other hand, the issue of increasing the prestige of a scientist’s work, maintaining motivation for young researchers is being actualized”, – said the acting Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet.
