The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine helped in launching a startup project “My Policy” – a mobile application that can be used in case of an accident to issue an electronic euro protocol, according to a press release from the bureau.

According to the release, the application makes it possible to convert a paper policy into electronic form.

“Our project office and an expert group for the selection of the best startups have been recognized as the winner of the first selection of a startup of young programmers “My Policy”, a ready-made solution for iOS and Android smartphones with the function of an electronic Euro-protocol and digitization of a paper policy. its full suitability for practical use. A wonderful idea that will simplify the filling out of the European protocol and gradually get rid of paper forms”, – said the General Director of MTIBU Volodymir Shevchenko, whose words are quoted in the press release.

It is also noted that in the near future MTIBU will conduct an information campaign to popularize the “My Policy” project among insurers and car owners. In particular, for this purpose, a video will be made and distributed in the information space, which will clearly show how to use the functions of the application.

As reported, the Bureau’s innovation hub, which helps technology startups in the financial sector, in particular in insurance and road safety, began operations late last year. Within the framework of the hub, innovative start-up projects present their MTIBU technological solutions and receive advice on the legislative framework and regulatory requirements in the field of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance and road safety, business processes, and the specifics of customer behavior in motor insurance.

The MTIBU expert group analyzes the proposed innovative solutions and services, analyzed and organized presentations of several projects in the inshurtech category. The functions of the expert group are making a decision on the feasibility of supporting a startup, establishing mechanisms and ways of support (assistance in obtaining funding, media support, organizational support, etc.).
