The competition for vacancies of members of the Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation continues – documents are accepted until September 14
The ID Committee of the National Research Foundation is holding a competition for the vacancies of members of the NED Scientific Council, whose term of office expires on December 27, 2020.
This is about:
- 7 vacancies in the section of natural, technical sciences and mathematics;
- 5 vacancies in the section of biology, medicine and agricultural sciences;
- 4 vacancies in the section of social and human sciences.
Members of the Scientific Council are elected for vacancies for a period of 4 years.
General provisions on the competition, including the requirements for members of the Scientific Council, set out in the relevant Regulations. This document, together with an official announcement, was made public on the official website of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine for the Development of Science and Technology.
Candidates for members of the Scientific Council have the right to nominate such subjects:
- National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
- national branch academies of sciences;
- scientific institutions and higher educational institutions of all forms of ownership;
- public scientific organizations.
Self-nomination is not allowed.
Subjects submit such documents:
- the candidate’s questionnaire;
- an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the scientific (scientific, technical, technical) council (general meeting, statutory body, etc.) of the subject of the nomination of a candidate with the justification of his / her compliance with the published qualification requirements for candidates and competence in the direction (directions) scientific and technical activities, the candidate must submit to the appropriate section of the Scientific Council; the extract must also contain the contact details (address, mobile phone) of the responsible person of the subject of the presentation;
- a statement of the candidate with consent to participate in the competition, addressed to the chairman of the identification committee;
- the candidate’s consent to the processing of personal data
The documents are prepared in Ukrainian and submitted in paper and electronic form. The deadline for submission of documents for participation in the competition is September 14, 2020.

Documents in electronic form are sent by the subjects of submission to the e-mail of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine for the Development of Science and Technology (uasciencecops@gmail.com) no later than 11:59 pm on September 14, 2020.
In paper form, documents must be received no later than September 18, 2020 at the address: st. Boris Grinchenko, 1, office. 122, Kyiv, 01001, Scientific Committee of the National Council for the Development of Science and Technology – identification committee.
In case of a violation of these requirements, documents will not be accepted.
Upon the decision of the identification committee, the candidate may be interviewed.

The results of the competition are published no later than five working days from the date of approval of the results of the competitive selection on the official website of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine for the Development of Science and Technology. The approximate date for the publication of the results of the competition is October 9, 2020.
