The Ministry of Education and Science proposes for public discussion a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from April 14, 2004 No. 494”

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine proposes for public discussion a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amending the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 494 from April 14, 2004” (hereinafter – the draft resolution), developed on the own initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science in accordance with paragraph 1 § 36 of the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from July 18, 2007 No. 950, for the purpose of deregulation in the field of scientific and scientific and technical activities.

The draft resolution proposes to amend the Procedure for the payment of an allowance for scientific work experience, in particular, to replace the condition for the certification of state scientific institutions and organizations, higher educational institutions, state enterprises with the certification of scientific workers in accordance with the Regulation on the certification of scientific workers, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers Ukraine from August 13, 1999 No. 1475.

Also, the provisions of the Procedure for paying the allowance for the length of scientific work have been brought in line with the norms of the current legislation.

The solution to this issue is extremely important for the payment of allowances to researchers of scientific institutions, higher educational institutions of state and municipal ownership and state enterprises.
