Ukrainian startup – Liki24.com service launched in Poland
Liki24.com, a Ukrainian drug sourcing and delivery platform, has started operating in Warsaw. Further plans include launching in other markets. AIN.UA editors in a short blitz learned the details about the launch in Poland from the creators of the service.
Why Poland
At the idea stage, we planned to create an international service Liki24.com – with a single global model of work in different markets.
We developed and tested the product itself in Ukraine. When it was fully formed and finalized, it was time to enter foreign markets. After an in-depth analysis of different countries, we settled on Poland. Having strengthened the team with specialists-experts on the Polish market, we began active training.
We began to analyze the Polish market in 2019 – we actively traveled around cities, watched how pharmacies work, studied consumer behavior and habits. Active work on the launch began in May 2020.
We set ourselves a goal – to fulfill the first orders in Poland in July, and we have already achieved it. We did it on July 24, 2020. It is symbolic that on July 24 – this service Liki24.com in Ukraine turned 3 years old. In Poland, July 24, 2020 – became a new starting point.
Work model
Warsaw was the first city in which the Liki24.com service was launched in Poland. But it is planned that in the future it will become available in all big cities, and then in the whole country.
Our launch model has been 100% tested in Ukraine, and we plan to repeat it in Poland as well – to provide an opportunity to receive medicines at the best price with convenient delivery for consumers and to act as a reliable partner for online and offline pharmacies.
The work model is the same as in Ukraine. The user selects the necessary medicines on the service website, then our partner courier goes to different pharmacies, buys medicines at the best price, forms an order and takes it to the specified address.
How much does delivery cost
Today, delivery costs 10 zloty (about UAH 75), there are 3 time periods to choose from – morning, afternoon and evening.
How users were attracted to the new market
In Poland, Liki24.com is in test mode. We have not launched active display campaigns yet. The first clients came to us through Google Ads. But, of course, a set of tools for attracting and retaining users, which have already proven their effectiveness in Ukraine, will soon work.
Plans
Our priority now is to work out the launch process in the second country, Poland. Then we will definitely launch in other countries, there are already developments in this direction.
Our goal is to be on the user’s side and solve their problems. And the situation when the cost of medicines in different pharmacies differs significantly, when you need to go around several pharmacies in search of the necessary medicines and spend a lot of time, is relevant almost for the whole world.
