The Ukrainians have created a solar power plant in the form of a cube. It costs $ 3000
The Ukrainian company “Carbon KNS”, engaged in the construction of industrial solar power plants, has developed a small home solar power plant in the form of a cube – Cuber. Its features are that, unlike classic SES, its installation does not require preparatory work and roof reinforcement.
Why do you need Cuber
Cuber is a compact solar power plant with dimensions of 2 * 2 meters. Supplied assembled, but, according to the developers, it will take only one day to assemble the structure, connect and start using.
You can assemble the station yourself, following the instructions, or with the help of an electrician.
“Our main task is to make energy independence available. We want to make it as easy to buy a solar power plant as a refrigerator or washing machine. You buy, invite an electrician and have a working equipment in a few hours”, – says project manager Yulia Polyakova.
Cuber costs $ 3000 (UAH 81,000), rated power – 3 kW * h. According to the developers, this will be enough to provide 70% of electricity for a private house of average size, equipped with all the necessary equipment.
Save, but not earn
As noted in “Carbon KNS”, Cuber is designed only for its own needs – it is not suitable for making money on the “green tariff”.
Recall that new home solar power plants, which are located on the ground, are legally prohibited from receiving a “green” tariff. Only SES located on the roofs of buildings or facade structures, or ground-based SES installed before January 1, 2020, have the right to sell electricity to the population.
