HUAWEI UKRAINE and KPI signed an agreement to open the Academy of information and network technologies

I. Sikorsky KPI is one of the first universities in Ukraine, which identified international cooperation as a priority path of development and new prospects for an educational institution. Technical universities have always been at the forefront of innovation and scientific progress. In the modern world, the digital industry is leading in all industries and needs high-level specialists.

For four years now I. Sikorsky KPI effectively interacts with Huawei.

On July 14, cooperation moved to a new stage: Huawei of UKRAINE and I. Sikorsky KPI signed an agreement to open the Academy of Information and Network Technologies on the basis of the university, authorized by Huawei. The document was signed by the rector of the university Mikhailo Zgurovsky and the deputy director for supply and service Huawei Ukraine Din Ning.

The Academy’s program is based on a unique synthesis of traditional education, which implies direct contact between teacher and student, with multimedia training courses and testing tools based on modern technologies.

This teaching method prepares future university graduates to work in the field of network and information technologies in the public and private sectors of the economy. Participants of the program will have the opportunity to start their careers in Huawei UKRAINE or partner companies.

The opening of the Academy of Information and Networking Technologies on the basis of the university aims to provide students with new opportunities for learning, business consulting and ideas for network design. Because the programs that are used in this Academy meet the highest international standards and they are very interesting considering the learning process itself. Cooperation will significantly improve the quality of training of future IT specialists, and their number”, – said the rector of I. Sikorsky KPI Mikhailo Zgurovsky.
