The Ministry of Education and Science proposes for public discussion a draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the approval of the concept of implementing the state policy for the development of Ukrainian e-infrastructures until 2023
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine proposes for public discussion a draft decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On approval of the Concept for the implementation of the state policy for the development of Ukrainian e-infrastructures until 2023 and approval of the Action Plan for its implementation”.
The purpose of the draft act is to determine the foundations of state support for existing and create favorable conditions for the design and implementation of new Ukrainian e-infrastructures, the activities of which will be aimed at meeting the existing needs of Ukrainian scientists, engineers, inventors, entrepreneurs and all citizens in access to convenient and reliable digital services preservation, management, analysis and reuse of open scientific data, as well as the involvement of Ukraine in the European research space.
The implementation of this act of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will help Ukrainian scientists gain access to archives of scientific materials and publications, as well as powerful computing resources and communication tools, which will allow for the implementation of relevant scientific and applied research in many scientific fields, and will simplify the formation of scientific collaborations (temporary creative collectives), combining scientific personnel, will support interdisciplinary interaction (integration), will contribute to effective scientific communication.
Ukrainian society, in turn, will receive modern tools to support research, education and innovation, contribute to the development of domestic science, increase its competitiveness, as well as integration into the European research space.
