GLOBAL TEACHER PRIZE UKRAINE 2020 will be held for the fourth time: everyone can nominate a teacher, the winner will receive UAH 250 thousand

This year, for the fourth time, the National Teacher Prize Global Teacher Prize takes place. The organizers are looking for teachers who, despite quarantine, continue to dream, inspire students, children and parents with their own example and change the lives of those around them.

The winners of 6 nominations will also be announced: the “Teacher of civic education” will go to Davos, the “Outstanding chemistry teacher” will receive UAH 200 thousand, the “Innovative teacher” will go to the international educational forum, the winner of the “Ukrainian Choice” nomination will go on an educational trip, and heart choice “Natalie Moseichuk will receive a cash reward and” Realization of Dreams”.

It’s very easy for the teacher to go to the award – just fill out the questionnaire via the link. Anyone can also nominate their favorite teacher, for this it is enough to fill out an application on the award website.

“We are happy that Ukrainian teachers are appreciated all over the world (two Ukrainian entered the top 50 of the Global Teacher Prize world prize), and we are convinced that there are still many real innovators and ministry creators among the Ukrainian teachers. To find them, we started the 2020 season of the prestigious national Global Teacher Prize Ukraine’s teacher’s prize and we urge all teachers to take part in it. Teachers are important, they are the key to changes in society”, – said Zoya Lytvyn, head of the Hospitality and founder of the Ukrainian Prize.

Applications are accepted until August 1, 2020. The winner will be announced on International Teacher’s Day on October 3, 2020 and will be rewarded with a prize of UAH 250,000.

Organizers of the award for the GS “Ovitoriya” are convinced: “Every teacher is a superhero who has his own super power! A teacher can save the country, because even now they share their superpower every day during lessons, teaching in Zoom, maintaining communication in Viber-chats and checking the countless number of completed tasks”.
