In Ukraine, villages and district centers will receive $ 17 million in their own landscaping and environmental projects.
New infrastructure, environmental, educational and social projects initiated by the residents of OTG themselves will be implemented in three new target areas: Chernihiv, Chernivtsi and Zaporizhzhya. This was reported by the press service of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, agronews.ua writes.
USAID to provide an additional $ 17 million to the DOBRE Program to expand collaboration with an additional 25 combined communities.
“This will increase the number of communities assisted by USAID to 100 and the areas in which the DOBRE Program works. In addition, DOBRE will begin supporting the development of initiatives for specific provisions at the national level. The goal is to make decentralization a universal reality in Ukraine”, said the Acting USAID mission Susan Cutor.
The program already includes OTG from 7 regions of Ukraine. In particular, in the Poltava region this year 50 environmental projects are being implemented.
