Students of the Oles Gonchar Dnipro National University developed an application for public communication with the police

Students of the Oles Gonchar Dnipro National University created “My Pol” (“My Police”) – a mobile application for communication with the police. He earned throughout Ukraine in late March.

“My Pol” was created on a volunteer basis in the scientific and technical laboratory of Noosphere Engineering School by students of the Department of Applied Mathematics of DNU. For the first time, the application was released in test mode on Google Play and the App Store in 2016. With the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, My Pol was gradually introduced in all regions of Ukraine.

Developers highlight the main features of the application:

• one-click emergency SOS signal;
• operational notifications from the police;
• map of police stations and medical facilities.
• police work monitoring.

It is worth noting that now more than 150 thousand users have downloaded My Pol to mobile devices.

Recall that three ZNU scientists created a device capable of conducting large-scale disinfection of air and surfaces.
