The Ukrainian won the international hackathon of countering coronavirus from the European Commission
The European Commission, together with 30 European hackathon organizers, conducted the #EUvsVirus pan-European online hackathon to create innovative solutions aimed at combating the outbreak of coronavirus.

#EUvsVirus put together a solution for six different areas: health and life, business preservation, remote work and education, social and political cohesion, digital finance, an open referral for specific problems identified by participants.
From Ukraine, 316 teams took part in the hackathon and submitted 50 ideas. It was one of these teams that became the winner in the direction of “Remote work and education”. The project “The Village – Where The World Is Your Classroom” was jointly developed by participants from Switzerland, Ukraine, the USA and India. The bottom line is to unite parents, peers and teachers in “villages” and have the opportunity to study together on the principles of a joint economy. The project has already received € 3 thousand.
