Team selection for Open Data Challenge 2020 completed
Selected teams that will continue to compete in the project competition based on open data Open Data Challenge 2020. For 24 teams, the next stage of the Open Data Challenge 2020 is waiting for you – an intensive weekend that will take place in an online format on April 24-26.
The organizers of the contest faced a difficult choice, because this year 190 teams from 29 cities went to the Open Data Challenge.
The assessment took place according to the main criteria of the competition on a point system:
- Anti-corruption influence
- Using open data
- Innovative solutions
- Development prospects
- A strong and inspired team
This year, a large number were solutions for business, transport, anti-corruption, legal tech and the medical field. By type of project, compared to the previous set, the number of chat bots has increased. And every fourth project proposed the creation of a mobile application. The competition does not limit projects by stages of development – more than half of the applications were projects at the idea level, 30% are at the development stage and about 19% are active projects.
The Ministry and the Committee for Digital Transformation of Ukraine wish all participants of the contest good luck inspiration!
