Ukrainian startup Skyworker raised investments at an estimate of $ 1.5 million
Ukrainian startup Skyworker raised the first round of investment from a venture investor from Kazakhstan Murat Abdrakhmanov. This was told to AIN.UA by a startup and the investor himself confirmed. He previously invested in companies such as Genesis, Jiji, Chocofamily, Nommi and others.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed (it is comparable to pre-seed rounds in the USA); as reported by AIN.UA in the company, its estimate amounted to about $ 1.5 million in this round.
Skyworker started as an offline career consulting agency, but gradually the team decided to build an IT product online. Now it is a SaaS service in the field of HR and marketing, which helps IT companies form an online pool of potential candidates for work. The startup is incorporated in the United States and is now engaged in research on the local market. According to its co-founders, it has already attracted several large customers, among them – People.ai, Logz.io, Materialize, Readdle, Innovecs, ELEKS, Daxx, WeSoftYou, Levi9, Beetroot, EVO.
Now the company’s product is in beta version, the funds raised will be spent on developing a full-fledged service in the Ukrainian market, and its adaptation for b2b clients in the US and Europe.
