Ukrainian startup Allset raised $ 8.25 million

Ukrainian startup Allset, founded by Stas Matvienko and Hanna Polishchuk, raised $ 8.25 as part of the Series B. Round, TechCruch reports. The round was led by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), attended by Andreessen Horowitz, Greycroft, SMRK VC Fund and Inovo Venture Partners.

Along with the new round in the Allset account already $ 16.6 million investment in it.

What is Allset

In addition, you can book a meal at a restaurant and pay the bill, as well as get recommendations for meals at a particular establishment.

Against the background of the coronary crisis, the company expanded its product capabilities. Now through Allset, establishments can offer take-out meals with contactless delivery. Allset commission on an order with this option is 12%. For users, the app gives $ 4 a day promo.

Coronacrisis and catering

Because of the coronacrisis, the Allset round almost failed. Matvienko told the newspaper that initially the goal was to raise $ 12+ million, but when negotiations were in the final stages, the US began to implement measures to combat the coronavirus (which made the work of the restaurant business questionable in several cities), and “several potential investors just disappeared”.

Matvienko said that after quarantine, the number of orders dropped by 60%, but Allset connected new partners in downtown areas (previously the company focused on downtown establishments), thus returning 10% of losses.

According to the CEO of the startup, Allset has attracted more than 200 new partners.
