Five “magnet projects” for the development of the region were presented in Rivne.
The press service of the regional state administration reports about it.
“During the meeting of the Council of Communities and Territories Development at the Regional State Administration, the investment priorities of the Rivne Region Development Strategy for the period up to 2027 were presented. These are strategic, potentially successful projects for the development of “magnets” projects, objects that are capable of attracting investments, tourists, can become drivers of development and realization of innovations, will play a significant role in filling the budget”, – the message reads.
First of all, it is a large-scale infrastructure project of a multifunctional arena in Rivne. The universal complex for 3500 spectator seats, as convinced by the regional state administration, is a “magnet” that will attract the sports and creative industry.
The closest such institution is in Poland, it has become a real driver of regional development.
The next magnet is Rivne International Airport.
Currently, it only operates charter flights, but its full-scale development is planned through attracting investors and a concessionaire. The airport is now in a pilot project to prepare an assignment to look for an investor.
Other facilities planned to be built with the help of investors are the “Dubensky Castle” and “Tarakanivsky Fort” tourist complexes, the “INN CITY” Science and Innovation Park, a regional medical oncology center that will provide high-tech specialized medical care to the population of Rivne, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, western Vinnytsia, eastern Chernivtsi regions.
During the meeting of the Council for Development of Communities and Territories, the chairman of the Regional State Administration Vitaliy Koval also informed that an interactive map of Rivne tourist sites is being prepared. Today it is under filling.
