Start accepting applications from accelerators
On June 10, the Ukrainian Startup Fund begins the work of the Grant Acceleration Program and announces a set of accelerators for accreditation and subsequent cooperation.
“The beginning of accelerator accreditation is the first stage for the full implementation of the Grant Acceleration Program, the purpose of which is to help promising startups that are applicants within the framework of our main grant program. Acceleration is a specialized training program for startups that aims to improve their qualifications and improve skills that relate to business development and beyond. Such an approach will help increase the number of successful startups”, – says Pavlo Kartashov, Director of the Fund, commenting on the launch of the program.
The grant acceleration program provides for startups that meet the requirements of this program, a grant for acceleration in accelerators accredited by the Fund.
The launch details of the acceleration program were also shared by Olexandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine:
“The acceleration program is a time-tested global practice of supporting start-ups. In accelerators, you have the opportunity to get specialized and business skills directly from the mentors and practitioners of the startup ecosystem. However, not all startups go through any acceleration. They often encounter certain difficulties, for example “How to get there and where to get money to pay for training. The Foundation’s program addresses these issues and offers an accessible and understandable acceleration mechanism for startups that give more hope”.
