Yaroslavsky will create “Silicon Valley” in Kharkiv

The owner and president of the DCH group will become the general investor and coordinator of the creation of the Ukrainian Silicon Valley in Kharkiv.

Kharkiv responded to the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to create a Ukrainian Silicon Valley in the city. The City Council issued an order No. 173 dated 09/07/2020 on the start of work on the corresponding project of the “developed information-technical and technological area “Ukrainian Silicon Valley”.

To work on the project of creating a Ukrainian Silicon Valley at the City Council, a working group is being created, and the project itself will be implemented as part of the Kharkiv Development Strategy until 2030

Alexander Yaroslavsky will act as the general investor and coordinator of the project, which is planned to be implemented on the basis of the Ecopolis KhTZ high technology business park. Yaroslavsky already has experience in similar projects. Previously, he successfully acted as a general investor and coordinator of an important megaproject for the region – preparing Kharkiv for Euro 2012.

Silicon Valley, which is located near San Francisco in the state of California, is known as the world center of scientific and technological potential and the technological “heart” of the United States.
