The VII International Interdisciplinary Competition of Scientific and Artistic Works named after Volodymyr Manyak and Lydia Kovalenko has been announced
The VII International Interdisciplinary Competition of Scientific and Artistic Works named after Vladimir Manyak and Lydia Kovalenko has been announced. Entries under the 2022 special theme “Me, my family, my country: the memory of the Holodomor and a look at Russia’s modern war against Ukraine through the prism of personal experience” will be accepted until November 20, 2022.
Only original, independently or collectively (no more than one co-author), previously unpublished/promulgated research and artworks prepared by citizens of Ukraine, Canada and other states can be sent to the Competition.
Entries must be submitted in Ukrainian or English.

The results of the competition will be announced in the last week of November 2022. Presentation of diplomas and monetary rewards for further deepening and dissemination of the results of scientific and creative activities in the field of the Holodomor – no later than January 2023.
The competition was announced by the Ministry of Education and Science together with the Public Organization “Ukrainian Research and Educational Center for the Study of the Holodomor”, with the support and assistance of the Institute of the History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Research and Educational Consortium for the Study of the Holodomor at the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the Alberta University.
