Mastercard announced Start Path – 5 startups will be selected for acceleration
On June 8, 2022, at the Money 20/20 Europe fintech event, Mastercard announced the Start Path initiative for Ukrainian fintechs and entrepreneurs. Within its framework, startups will be able to pass the acceleration program. This was reported by representatives of Mastercard.
- As noted, the program will begin in the fall of 2022.
- Applications will start this summer. Details will be communicated subsequently.
- The initiative will be supported by the National Bank of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
- At the first stage, support will be provided to five Ukrainian startups.
- Selected teams during the six months of acceleration will receive mentoring support, access to resources and networking opportunities with leading experts.
- Mastercard noted that this will help in scaling and accelerating the development of the business of the participants.
- The new initiative is a continuation of Mastercard’s global Start Path program. The company adds that it allows technology startups at mature stages of development to quickly scale through access to Mastercard technologies.
- As of June 2022, more than 300 startups worldwide have received support under the Start Path. Among them: CNote, Doconomy, Revolut and Subaio.
