MULTI-STAGE GRAVITY SHELF DRYER
PURPOSE:
For drying all types of thermostable and thermolabile dispersed materials.
DESCRIPTION:
Multistage gravity shelf dryer – a new design of drying devices with stable hydro and thermodynamic indicators, achieved by vertical sectioning of the internal space due to the installation of a cascade of perforated shelves at a certain angle; this creates conditions for the gravitational movement of the material along the shelves and its filling from one shelf to another. On each of the shelves in this design an effective mixing characteristic of the fluidized bed is created, while maintaining the advantages of an organized counterflow regime.
ADVANTAGES:
Development provides:
-
-
- creation of a countercurrent mode of movement of interacting flows, which is the most effective and provides the greatest value of the average driving force;
- the possibility of simultaneously carrying out the drying process and the classification of the material in one apparatus;
- reducing the size of the apparatus by creating separate stages of contact flows in the volume of one apparatus;
- the organization of a differentiated regime for the dehydration of dispersed material — the creation of compressors and thermodynamic drying conditions at each stage, depending on the temperature and humidity characteristics of the dispersed material and the drying agent;
- the ability to control the residence time of the dispersed phase in the apparatus by changing the technological characteristics of the drying process and the design parameters of the dryer;
- recycling a drying agent reduces energy costs for the process.
