Grammarly invested in startup on the development of AI

Docugami technology understands the unique structure of documents, developers say.

Grammarly, which developed the popular online literacy assistant in English, invested in Seattle-based startup Docugami. This was reported by the editors of Liga.Tech by Grammarly representatives.

This is Grammarly’s first investment in another company. The investment was carried out as part of the initial financing stage of the company.

“The main goal of Docugami is to use artificial intelligence technologies to overcome inconsistencies among digital documentation. This goal complements Grammarly’s strategic vision of creating a comprehensive communications assistant that will improve professional and personal communication”, – the company explained.

Docugami uses a range of artificial intelligence technologies to help organizations of all sizes create the most important business documents with greater accuracy and efficiency. Docugami technology understands the unique structure of documents and integrates seamlessly into current business processes.

“Our online service is expanding to provide assistance with even more complex communication tasks. We also plan to create new product features to help business companies ensure effective written communication both between teams and with customers”, – Grammarly said.
