German fintech startup raised € 22.5 million

The German fintech startup Penta has completed the next phase of attracting investment. The company’s specialists managed to get € 4 million from investors. The total amount of financing attracted during the two stages amounted to € 22.5 million. Information about this appeared on the startup’s official website (penta.pr.co), Bloomchain writes.
The next round was attended by venture capital firm RTP Global, as well as venture capital funds S7 Group and Presight Capital. Previously, a startup has already received funding from these companies. Additionally, the startup raised funds from a number of new investors.
“We believe that SMEs are largely underestimated by financial institutions. In the case of Penta, the team’s unsurpassed level of professionalism and its focus on adding additional value to small and medium-sized enterprises make the company an excellent partner”, – commented Oleg Gordienko, managing partner of S7V, regarding investments in Penta.
During the previous series of attracting investments, startup specialists received € 18.5 million. The startup was supported by the venture company RTP Global, as well as ABN Amro Ventures and VR-Ventures funds. In total, over the history of its existence, Penta specialists managed to raise € 39.7 million.
